Chris Monk has been hired by Adams Radio of Fort Wayne

Minneapolis MN – Chris Monk has been hired by Adams Radio of Fort Wayne to serve as VP & Market Manager for the Adams Radio stations in Fort Wayne Indiana. Adams owns and operations WWFW (Soft Rock 103.9), WBTU (US933), WJFX (Hot 1079), WXKE (963XKE), WGL AM (Fox Sports 1250), WLYV AM (1450 The Patriot), B96.9 (R&B + Old School) and Great Country 103.3.

Chris was raised in South Bend, Indiana. He comes to Adams with thirty-five years in radio, including, general management, sales management, sales training and ownership. His experience ranges from small to large markets. He has developed top performing sales departments for Citadel Broadcasting, Northern Star Broadcasting, Journal Broadcast Group and Nationwide Communications. He is a graduate of Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science-Radio and Television Management and Spring Arbor University, Master of Arts-Organizational Management. He is also an Adjunct Professor with Northwood University. Most recently Chris served as Senior Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer of Alliance 180, a revenue development and consulting firm for broadcasters in the United States and Canada.
