Fort Wayne, Indiana: Adult Contemporary station WWFW, “SOFT ROCK 103.9” is proud to announce Amber Stone as the new morning program host on the radio station!
This will become the first female-led morning show in Fort Wayne.
SOFT ROCK 103.9 Brand Manager Rob Mackenzie says, “Morning radio in Fort Wayne has been typically led by a male host, with a female co-host. We are taking a fresh approach and will have a phenomenal personality anchoring our morning drive show in Amber Stone. I can’t wait for her to get started on Monday!”
Amber added, “Having my own morning show has been a huge dream of mine! Thank you so much Rob Mackenzie, Jim Richards, and Chris Monk, for allowing me to wake up Fort Wayne! I’m thrilled to get out in the community, and make an impact on my listeners.”
At the same time, Mackenzie says there will be a slight freshening of the station’s music playlist.
“Our core since we launched last summer has been AC, or Adult Contemporary, and it still is. This is a natural evolution of our product. One of the key driving forces is ‘Variety.’ We continue to feature great songs from the 80’s through today. Everything from Journey to Bruno Mars. Led by our Continuous Soft Rock from 9am to Noon weekdays, it’s a great station to have on all day at work!”
